Canadian menswear brand, HAVEN, has announced an exciting new shoe developed in partnership with Vans, the “Off the Wall” shoe company that everyone knows and loves. It is the HAVEN x Vans Vault OG Lampin VLT LX. This is not your ordinary old-school skater shoe, even though that is predominantly what Vans is known for making. HAVEN is mainly a purveyor of exceptional outwear for men with retail locations in Vancouver and Toronto. The brand is high-quality with a culture that is dedicated to a unique and durable style.
The Vans collab is definitely in line with the established HAVEN aesthetic, as this represents the brands’ third outing together. The Vault OG Lampin VLT LX has an ultra-cushion sole in the well-known Vans silhouette. The materials are a supple brushed suede and tonal nubuck on the side panel and heel stripe. They come in two different color choices, black and “marshmallow” a soft creamy white. Being water-resistant will help keep these Vans kicks in shape for years to come with the right care and sneaker upkeep. The insoles and lining are pigskin leather with a padded collar around the ankle for additional comfort. These are a basic pair with many upgrades that will go with any leisurewear or casual denim. With the luxury fabric of suede, wearing these with a nice suit is not out of the question.
