Spring 2023 is starting to peek over the horizon as Harley-Davidson unveils a new variant to the Nightster lineup. The 2023 Harley-Davidson Nightster Special adds subtle styling changes while improving rider comfort and more color options.

When compared, the Nightster and Nightster Special share the same powertrain DNA. The Harley-Davidson Nightster Special features the 90 horsepower Revolution Max 975T engine producing a hearty 70 lb.-ft of torque at low RPM. The engine is nested neatly within the new frame developed for the Nightster motorcycle. However, to stand out, the Nightster Special wears a mudguard-mounted pillion seat and footpegs below the panel cover for a passenger. New seven-spoke to 14-spoke cast alloy wheels are included and an air box design that calls back to the 1970s.

Moreover, the Harley-Davidson Nightster Special features handlebars raised two inches and one inch closer to the rider. These revised ergonomics claim to improve rider comfort on long journeys. In addition, the Nightster Special upgrades the analog dash for a four-inch TFT digital screen and a USB port. This tech upgrade allows riders to link their smartphone to the bike for GPS navigation and answer or decline calls using a Bluetooth headset. This new system also replaces the analog LCD system with a TFT switch cube on the left side.

The 2023 Harley-Davidson Nightster Special also gains cruise control in addition to the standard traction control and two-channel ABS. The Nightster Special will arrive at your local Harvey-Davidson dealer by spring 2023 in four different color schemes.
