Scrambler motorcycles in their truest sense have died off in the mid-70s, when they were replaced by more potent and capable motocross bikes. Their spiritual successors these days may call themselves scramblers, but it’s more for its stylistic attributes and the ability to tackle unpaved roads. Timmermans Fietsen makes custom bicycles and for their latest creation, they’ve found inspiration from these old school scrambler motorcycles with their Timmermans Fietsen E-Bike Scrambler.
In true scrambler fashion, it has fat studded tires on suspensions and a riser bar for more secure control of the bike. The frame has been sourced from a transport bike from the ‘30s, but has been thoroughly reworked in order to make room for the motor and toothed belt. Even the headlight grill and saddle bridge are custom designed for this bike. Available in two versions that can go up to speeds of 15.5 mph or 28 mph, this is a bike that will give you the freedom to take on your journeys, even when the pavement ends.
