The ‘F9’ – Official Trailer 2 Is The Latest Chapter In The Street-Racing Franchise

‘Fast and Furious’ is back again with an epic showdown between brothers Vin Diesel and John Cena.

The ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise will be back at it again in U.S. theaters on June 25th with its ninth film, ‘F9’. ‘F9’ is a sequel to 2017’s ‘The Fate of the Furious.’ In the newly released official trailer for ‘F9,’ Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty (played by Michelle Rodriguez) and his son, little Brian. However, what they soon discover is that danger lurks just over their peaceful horizon. We see in the trailer that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (played by John Cena)). Directed by Justin Lin, the film also stars Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Sung Kang, with Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron.

It’s rumored that late actor Paul Walker’s longtime ‘Fast & Furious’ character Brian O’Conner will be making an appearance in ‘F9.’ He previously made a posthumous appearance, after his death in 2013, in ‘Furious 7,’ with the help of his brothers as on-set stand-ins, and with animation work from WETA Digital. The exact nature of Walker’s alleged appearance in “F9” is unclear, but it is reported that the production sought a new body double to play Walker’s character. Having grossed more than $5.8 billion since the franchise launched in 2001, it’s likely that ‘F9’ will be yet another blockbuster for the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.
