Created by one of the preeminent Brazilian architects of our time, Marcio Kogan, the SP_penthouse is a large penthouse located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Studio MK27 designed penthouse is split over three levels, with an impressive sense of scale, built for someone with a voracious appetite for books and collecting.
The crown jewel of the SP_penthouse is the jaw-dropping library on the top floor, which is clad top-to-bottom with shelving grids to house books and various objects that the owners have collected over the years. The grid is only broken up by the entranceway and windows that provide panoramic views of the city. The large space is divided into several seating areas with high-end furniture pieces to create intimate zones in the rather large space. The top level is also topped off with a spa area that has a pool, a winter garden, and gym, while the lower level houses the private areas like kitchen, living area, and bedrooms at the lowest floor.
