The best camp kitchen occupies almost no room once dinner is over. Sea to Summit has rebuilt its collapsible cookware around that disappearing act, reducing weight while making the nested system sturdier and quieter in transit.

The XLite Collapsible Camp Kitchen stacks cups inside bowls and bowls inside pots, turning separate pieces into a single packed cylinder. Compared with the previous generation, the collection is up to 30 percent lighter; the XLite cup weighs just 1.5 ounces. Flexible food-grade silicone walls fold flat, while a stronger 5 Series aluminum base spreads heat and gives the vessels a stable platform on a stove.

A redesigned Flip Lock Handle is half the weight of its predecessor, locks automatically, and removes the rattle that can make a cook set announce every step of a hike. Sea to Summit tested the mechanism through 15,000 cycles, an unglamorous number that says more about design intent than another decorative finish. The modular nesting logic also makes XLite a compact alternative to a full camp kitchen system when pack volume matters more than countertop space.
A limited XLite assortment is available now through Sea to Summit and REI, with the full line arriving spring 2027. Prices run from $16.95 for a mug to $229.95 for the largest cook set.
