Master & Dynamic, manufacturer of headphones, earphones, speakers, and audio accessories, has today launched its first entry into the gaming headset market with the new MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones. The company claims the MG20 to be the first true luxury gaming headphones on the market. According to Founder and CEO Jonathan Levine, “We knew the time was right to create a luxury gaming headset, and our goal with the MG20 was to deliver the exceptional sound and design that Master & Dynamic is known for. The MG20 will satisfy both the professional and recreational gamer looking for technical performance, sophisticated style, and high-quality materials.”
The Master & Dynamic MG20 earcups are fabricated from lightweight magnesium and have a headband that is wrapped in cushioned, breathable Alcantara. The memory foam earpads wrapped in lambskin are specifically engineered to ensure comfort during extended game play. The MG20 are the brand’s first headphones to feature 50mm Beryllium drivers and 7.1 surround sound. Also a first, are equalizer presets in the M&D Connect app that will enable gamers to choose between sound profiles. Aligning to the ear’s natural shape, the headphones offer angled ear cups. Meanwhile, the semi-open back acoustics effectively create a broader more lifelike sound.
The Master & Dynamic MG20 feature a detachable boom microphone with an additional onboard mic array for clear communication whether in-game or on calls. They also feature 22 hours of battery life on a single charge and have on-head detection to save battery while not in use. Furthermore, a low-latency USB-A adapter compatible with Playstation and PCs alike allows gamers to seamlessly switch between devices without having to re-pair. Bluetooth 5.0 creates a secure connection for a 100ft/30m distance. Master & Dynamic MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones will be widely available starting on November 16th.
