Known for playing the debonair character of James Bond in the beloved 007 franchise, British actor Daniel Craig has recently collaborated with Greg Williams, one of Britain’s most renowned photographers, to launch the Leica Q2 Daniel Craig x Greg Williams Compact Digital Camera — a piece of technology worthy of 007 himself. Daniel Craig describes the recent partnership this way, “The Q2 is, for me, the perfect camera and needs no improvement. So, to have the chance to work with the amazing people at Leica and my friend, Greg Willams to create something as unique as this, has been a privilege and an honor.”
The Leica Q2 Daniel Craig x Greg Williams Compact Digital Camera is technically identical to the original Leica model, featuring the 47.3MP full-frame sensor, OLED EVF, a built-in Summilux 28mm F1.7 lens, and the ability to shoot video in 4K UHD 24p. However, the visual elements of the camera provide a touch of refinement thanks to its diamond embossed leather and black and gold design, which is a first for the brand, departing from Leica’s standard ‘red dot’ logo. To finish off the look, this model comes in a black silk-lined presentation box with gold lettering and a hinged-lid.
