How A Chef Made a 100 sq-ft NYC Apartment Work

Living in NYC can be tough; high rent prices means that one must sacrifice amenities that may seem trivial in other parts of the country. It can seem ludicrous at times but the allure of living in the Big Apple seems to draw many people into the City, no matter what the sacrifices are. To others outside of New York, it may be difficult to understand this kind of lifestyle, but New Yorkers are a resourceful bunch making the most out of what they have.

Take for example Grayson Altenburg, a newcomer to the city working as a chef at the Lincoln Center. Somehow he has made his 100 sq-ft apartment work as a home and seems to be moe than happy with it. Check out the short video by the Village Voice to see how he manages with his new found home.
