Outdoor cooking equipment has steadily evolved from purely functional hardware into a category where design carries almost as much weight as performance. Gozney’s latest collaboration with cult paint brand Tonester leans fully into that shift, transforming four of the company’s most popular pizza ovens into limited-edition design pieces that blur the line between culinary tool and outdoor décor.

The Gozney x Tonester collection applies four signature Tonester paint colors to four different Gozney ovens, with each shade selected for the way it interacts with fire, light, smoke, and shadow. Rather than simply introducing new colorways, the collaboration approaches the ovens as focal points within outdoor living spaces, treating color as an integral part of the experience.

The collection includes the compact Arc Lite finished in “High at the Gala,” a deep burgundy hue designed to add warmth without overwhelming a space. The portable Tread arrives in “Car Coat,” a nuanced stone-brown finish that shifts subtly depending on lighting conditions. The Arc XL receives “London House,” a rich navy blue with architectural depth, while the flagship Dome XL (Gen 2) is finished in “Black Orange,” Tonester’s signature rust-inspired shade that appears particularly striking when illuminated by live flame.

Notably, the collaboration leaves the ovens’ core design untouched. Black chimneys, control panels, and functional components remain in place, preserving the visual balance that has helped establish Gozney’s reputation for design-led outdoor cooking equipment. The result feels considered rather than decorative, with the colors enhancing the ovens’ sculptural forms instead of competing with them.

Each model will be released individually between June 15 and June 18, with no planned restocks. Pricing remains identical to the standard versions, ranging from $399.99 for the Arc Lite to $2,799.99 for the Dome XL (Gen 2).

In a market increasingly filled with incremental updates and seasonal finishes, the Gozney x Tonester series stands out for its thoughtful approach to color. It’s less a product collaboration and more a conversation between two brands that share an appreciation for materiality, craftsmanship, and the idea that everyday objects should contribute to the atmosphere of a space. For outdoor kitchens where aesthetics matter as much as the food coming out of the oven, that distinction makes all the difference.
