When the founders of FORLOH visited Greenland to inspect the weather stations conducting climate research they sponsor, they found a new definition of extreme climate. As a result, their team set forth to design the ultimate jacket for cold-weather apparel. Described as “Your Fortress Against the Cold,” the new FORLOH Men’s Expedition Jacket uses FORLOH’s patented technology to create a fully seam-sealed, waterproof, and breathable three-layer patriot outer shell. The jacket also uses 800+ fill-power USA white duck down 90/10 baffle lined interior and a removable interior powder skirt for deep snow conditions.

According to FORLOH, the jacket is “designed to maximize warmth, comfort, and temperature regulation with different weights based on the human body’s warmth needs.” Ventilation zippers can regulate individual active temperature, and hand warmers can be placed in the zippered hand pockets while two interior chest pockets protect valuables, including a special interior beanie/goggle pouch.

For safety, the jacket features RECCO Search and Rescue Technology which transmits a traceable signal and multiple reflective logo placements for headlamp-visible protection. The acronym FORLOH stands for “FOR the Love Of Hunting,” but the company’s commitment to conservation and the environment shows it stands for much more. Each jacket includes a hand-signed and numbered hangtag and is available in snowfall-pattered white, black, magnet gray, and FORLOH’s signature red. It can be purchased directly from the manufacturer for $1,195.
