Bell & Ross has just launched the new BR 05 Horolum, which is limited to just 250 examples. It was in 2017 that Bell & Ross introduced its first Horolum edition with a sandblasted case and green-tinted, long-lasting Super-LumiNova. “Horo”, refers to time or watchmaking, and “Lum” means light. The BR 05 Horolum includes a 40mm bead-blasted steel case and bracelet to give it a more technical, matte finish while it adds Super-LumiNova C5 photoluminescent coatings to the hands and indices for contrast and functionality. According to the brand, “The BR 05 Horolum is inspired by the minerality of concrete and the stripping down of contemporary architecture. It is intended for urban explorers who can be seen in the city any time of day or night.”

The monochromatic Bell & Ross BR 05 Horolum boasts a dial done in matte gray with a date window at 3 o’clock. Powered by an automatic CAL.321 movement, which has a power reserve of 38 hours, the timepiece has a screw-down crown, crown guard, and a sapphire case-back with 360° oscillating weight. Along with a matching bead blasted steel bracelet, the BR 05 Horolum also comes with a secondary rubber strap in black.

In case you missed it, here is another recent release from B&R – the BR 01 Cyber Skull Sapphire.
