The Away Cooler Tote brings the luggage brand’s restrained design language to a category usually defined by boxy silhouettes and conspicuous outdoor hardware. It remains recognizably a cooler, but looks composed enough to move from the beach to a hotel or grocery run without an equipment change.

Its fully welded body uses recycled polyester with a TPU coating, paired with a polyester lining finished in semi-clear TPU. Waterproof zipper tape is designed to help prevent leaks, while the insulated compartment keeps food and drinks cold for up to nine hours when used with an ice pack.

At 30 liters, the Cooler Tote provides meaningful day-trip capacity rather than functioning as an oversized lunch bag. It measures 22.4 inches long, 14.6 inches high, and 8.7 inches deep, with a 4.5-pound empty weight that places it closer to substantial soft-sided cooler bags than casual canvas totes.

Over-the-shoulder webbing handles and a removable, adjustable padded strap provide two primary carry options. Side grab handles double as attachment points, while front and rear slip pockets keep smaller items outside the insulated compartment. Rear webbing holds a rolled towel or blanket, and an integrated bottle opener covers an obvious but frequently overlooked detail.

Away offers the Cooler Tote now in Jet Black, Navy Blue, Olive Green, and Cherry Red for $248.
