Its built-in dual high-end AK4490 DAC chips deliver the same performance power as the DACs found in Astell&Kern’s enormously popular AK380 players, with amazingly consistent digital music playback. With the dual configuration of the ACRO model, the chips are capable of delivering amazing resolution and a vibrant spatial sound. The new implementation is intended to outperform any previous DACs with the new AMP circuit design in the L1000, which allows the device to administer professional grade sound with minimal distortion.
Along with the added 32-bit CPU for more accurate processing, the ACRO L1000 can reproduce up to 32bit/384kHz PCM as it was originally recorded without any down-sampling. It can also handle native DSD playback of up to 11.2MHz without conversion, so let that be music to your ears.
