For more than ten years, PlayStation Plus has supplied gamers with easy access and affordable game subscription options. Now, an All-New PlayStation Plus service will combine the game streaming services of PlayStation Now with the unlimited game library found in PlayStation Plus. Stating in June, the all-new PlayStation Plus service will be available to gamers worldwide in three levels of subscription service. The all-new PlayStation Plus service has a basic plan called PlayStation Plus Essential. This service offers the same benefits as the current PlayStation Plus: online multiplayer access, cloud storage for gameplay, exclusive discounts, and two new downloadable games every month. PlayStation Plus Essential starts at $9.99 per month, $24.99 per quarter, or $59.99 per year.

The second tier of service, PlayStation Plus Extra, will feature the same benefits as the Essential and add up to 400 downloadable games designed for the PS4 and PS5. Membership in the PlayStation Plus Extra tier will start at $14.99 per month, $39.99 per quarter, or $99.99 per year. Lastly, the latest edition to the all-new PlayStation Plus service is the PlayStation Plus Premium. The premium package includes all the same services from the Essential and Extra tiers and adds up to 340 different games, including games designed for the PS3 and some games from PS2 and PSP. The PlayStation Premium will start at $17.9 per month, $49.99 per quarter, or $119.99 per year. The service is set to launch in Asia in June, with North America, Europe, and other global markets soon to follow. By the end of June 2022, the goal is to have the all-new PlayStation Plus services available in every area the current PlayStation Network covers.
