Polestar released a new limited production variant of its Polestar 2. This new model is dubbed the Polestar 2 BST Edition 230. The car’s name may sound confusing compared to its predecessor, the BST Edition 270, in terms of name and looks, considering they share the same platform.
For starters, the new BST Edition 230 offers a more potent tune compared to the standard Polestar 2. The BST Edition 230 cranks it up to 476 horsepower and 502 lb.-ft of torque. As a result, the EV scamps from zero to 60 in 4.2 seconds. Moreover, the chassis rides lower and features stiffer springs, and two-way adjustable racing-spec Ohlins BST Edition branded dampers. Finally, the car rolls on bespoke Pirelli P Zero HL tires wrapped around 21-inch wheels.
Exclusives for the Polestar 2 BST Edition include Green Nebula exterior paint (or Space black) and MicroSuede textile finish for the interior seats and steering wheel. In addition, there is the optional full-length exterior body stripe. Only 230 units will be available, with 60 intended for the U.S. market. Orders can be placed on Polestar’s website on a first-come, first-served basis, so hurry up if you want one before production starts in the fall of this year.
