Nothing, the tech company known for its innovative designs and disruptive approach, has officially revealed the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2). This latest release is set to impress tech enthusiasts who found its predecessor underpowered or were unable to purchase the earlier model in their region. With significant upgrades in performance and features, the Phone (2) is ready to make its mark in the smartphone market.
Powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip the Phone (2) offers flagship-level performance, boasting an impressive 80 percent increase in speed compared to last year’s hardware. This enables smooth 4K video recording at 60 frames per second and enhances RAW HDR photography with the ability to capture eight frames, providing more detailed and vibrant images.
The camera quality has also received an upgrade, with the Phone (2) featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide rear camera, and a 32MP front camera. The “super-res” digital zoom, object tracking, and Action Mode for extra-stable video recording further enhance the photography and videography capabilities.
The Nothing Phone (2) showcases a larger 6.7-inch, 120Hz LTPO OLED screen with thinner bezels and a higher peak brightness of 1,600 nits, offering an immersive visual experience. The tapered “2.5D” glass back and advanced Glyph lighting on the back add a touch of elegance and personalization. With Nothing OS 2.0, users have more customization options for home screens, folders, and widgets. Not compromising on battery life, the Phone (2) houses a 4,700mAh battery and supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, ensuring convenience and flexibility for users.
The Nothing Phone (2) will be available in the US and Canada starting July 17th, with prices starting at $599 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Pre-orders are currently open, and early sales will take place on July 13th at physical “Nothing Drops” locations in New York City and London.
With its upgraded performance, impressive camera capabilities, and sleek design, the Nothing Phone (2) is set to be a game-changer in the smartphone market, providing users with a truly remarkable experience.
