To celebrate its expansion to esports, renowned football club Paris Saint Germain has reconnected with boutique New York City audio company Master & Dynamic for the aptly-named Master & Dynamic x Paris Saint-Germain Collection.
The collab is essentially a reskin of three offerings from M&D: the MW08 Active Noise-Cancelling True Wireless Earphones, MH40 Wireless Headphones, and the MG20 Wireless Gaming Headphones. Each piece has been thoughtfully redesigned to feature PSG’s iconic Eiffel Tower logo and tri-color styling to striking effect. No red card necessary for the MG20 gaming headphones, which deliver performance worthy of their $449 price point. Custom 50mm Beryllium drivers and 7.1 surround provide complete fidelity for Ultras playing FIFA 23 on console or PC, while the flexible boom mic ensures smack-talk comes through loud and clear.
The aviator-inspired MH40’s offer sturdy construction and detailed sound, as the outer-mesh grill is for looks only: no audio leaks here. However, some may find them heavy during extended listening sessions. The MW08 earphones offer a six-microphone talk solution that’s helpful when explaining why gameday at the pub is headed into overtime once again. Should Le Classique somehow go sideways, active noise cancellation will silence bleating Marseille hooligans – not to mention clueless Yanks who still insist on calling it ‘soccer’. Incroyable.
