If you fancy yourself a true fan and avid player of the Gran Turismo video game racing series, prepare for a new electric-assisted mid-engine supercar in January 2024. This new sleek track star is brought to you by the Genesis brand dubbed the X Gran Berlinetta. The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept is a vibrant expression of the brand’s “athletic elegance design philosophy.” It starts with a crest grille and signature quad-light front end leading to a futuristic fuselage profile that pierces through the air like an arrow, ending with an elliptical concave tail topped off with an integrated rear spoiler.

The car features an eye-popping magma color inspired by Korea’s volcanoes. In addition, the cockpit features a no-nonsense interior with a steering yoke, six dials on a curt row of controls across the doors, and a head-up display.

Powering the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept is a mid-mounted Lambda 11 V6 engine aided by E-SC technology to deliver a combined output of 1,071 horsepower and 986 pound-feet of torque. The power split comes from the V6 engine screaming at a virtual 10,000 rpm, developing 870 hp and 790 lb.-ft of torque, while the Yasa E motor generates an additional 201 hp and 196 lb.-ft.

Players can find the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta in their Gran Turismo 7 garages as a gift, following the upcoming January 24 update. All they have to do is click a banner at the top right corner of their GT7 world map screen and watch the GT World Series broadcast.
