Few companies represent the pinnacle of their respective industries more than Jack Daniels and McLaren. Established in 1866, Jack Daniels is undoubtedly the best-known whiskey distillery in the United States, a brand made world-famous thanks to the Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey product. A byword for excellence in Formula 1, McLaren has competed across all the major racing series with a track record of victories. The two titans of whiskey and motorsports have joined forces for the new Jack Daniel’s x McLaren 2024 Edition Tennessee Whiskey, a limited release launched to mark the beginning of this year’s racing season.
Commemorating the partnership with McLaren in style, the release comes in a gorgeously designed bottle and box that captures the vibrant and energetic lines of a McLaren F1 car. The Jack Daniel’s x McLaren 2024 Edition Tennessee Whiskey takes the signature papaya orange colorway of McLaren’s racing brand, with a full-bodied Old No. 7 whiskey for aficionados to enjoy. It’s a drink that Jack Daniels feels reflects the spirit of authenticity and boldness McLaren brings to motorsports, and follows on the hugely successful collaboration from 2023.
Distilled in Lynchburg, Tennessee, it includes the standard grain bill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley, bottled at 80 proof (40% abv). Additional flavor is infused through the method of dropping the whiskey through ten feet of charcoal to mellow the beverage, followed by maturation in white oak barrels.
