After a few delays, boutique A Ma Maniere has announced that its highly anticipated collaboration with Jordan Brand will be released on April 21st with the A Ma Maniére Air Jordan 3 Footwear and Apparel Collection. A Ma Maniére has carefully curated hype around its Air Jordan 3 Footwear and Apparel Collection and we now have been granted a peek at the sneaker. It features a white tumbled leather upper offset with touches of grey suede at the toe-box, lace collar, and heel, and has a satin-like quilted inner lining. The midsole heel is a dark “Violet Ore” shade, matching well with the pre-yellowed midsole and mid-foot eyelets to establish that hard-to-reach luxury vintage aesthetic. Finally, the clean profile is topped off with a silver Jumpman logo embroidered on the shoe’s right tongue and the left shoe swapping out Michael Jordan’s signature mark for A Ma Maniére’s “A” logo.
A-Ma Maniére was awarded Footwear News’ Retailer of the Year 2020 award and is certainly no stranger to working with brands on sneaker collaborations. In 2019 alone, they partnered with adidas on the Crazy BYW and then with Nike on a set of Air Force 1s. Not much is known at this time regarding the apparel side of the A-Ma Maniere Air Jordan 3 Collection, but it is rumored that it will include satin jackets, cargo pants, and a range of hoodies and T-Shirts. Based on the Air Jordan 3s classy and vintage look, the clothing will likely be equally timeless, justifying the anticipation surrounding the release.
