A-Cold-Wall* Partners With RSF To Launch The América Onyx Sunglasses

RETROSUPERFUTURE (RSF) has revealed its third collaboration with British fashion brand A-Cold-Wall* (ACW*) by Samuel Ross with reworkings of the America silhouette for Spring/Summer 2022. The A-Cold-Wall* x RSF América Onyx Sunglasses “explore the intersection between A-COLD-WALL*’s industrial heritage and the futuristic design ethos synonymous with RETROSUPERFUTURE eyewear.”

The ACW* x RSF America Onyx Sunglasses embody a minimalist, angular shape, characterized by its clean-cut and versatile frame design. Dressed in a 3D grid pattern with a smooth color gradient towards the temple tips, co-branding is seen on the inner sides of the temples. The season codes are printed on the lenses. Made from 60 percent black Italian acetate and 40 percent nylon, they have glass lenses and provide 100 percent UV protection.

RSF created SUPER, a leading brand of unique contemporary eyewear. Founded in Italy in 2007 by Daniel Beckerman, SUPER has become highly popular for its eclectic collection of colorful acetate sunglasses. Starting from a classic, clean silhouette, SUPER has gradually built up their impressive collection, currently comprising a long list of timeless yet cutting edge shapes. Silhouettes like the Flat Top, Ciccio, América, and W, have become staples of SUPER’s collections. Young British designer Samuel Ross is the creative visionary behind the streetwear brand A-Cold-Wall*. What started as a British streetwear label in 2015, the brand has evolved into a multi-million-dollar, service-based luxury company.
