Microsoft updates the Xbox One console with the Xbox One S. The new console is the smallest Xbox yet, at 40% smaller than the original, and features a new design wearing a special white color that Microsoft calls ‘robot white.’ The console alone would be incomplete without an upgrade to the controller as well, which has been tweaked as well and wears the same shade of robot white.

The standout feature is that it supports UHD Blu-Ray and 4K video from streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Video. A special limited edition Xbox One S will be available in early August with a 2TB hard drive at $399, while two standard versions will soon follow at $299 for 500GB and $349 for 1TB.
