Sonus faber recently unveiled the Sonus faber Omnia, a sleek and modern wireless speaker that enhances the home audio experience with an updated take on the all-in-one speaker system. The multilayer wood top highlights the iconic Italian style and classic Sonus faber design, with a combination of a traditional walnut finish and graphite that gives the piece a modern, industrial look. The company says the Sonus faber Omnia is an ecosystem of organic architecture and technology in one high-end wireless system. The illuminated lines in the walnut top panel indicate Sonus faber Omnia’s wireless speaker mode. Users can see which streaming service they are using, as well as input and volume control.
This system is touch-sensitive, allowing direct user control. Additionally, there is a handheld controller, and it connects wirelessly to users’ smartphones or tablets. Plus, Sonus faber Omnia features a suite of digital and analog connections for streaming devices and unrivaled sound. For example, the built-in phono stage can connect to a digital turntable for listening to vinyl records. Sonus faber says the Omnia’s advanced signal processing system provides excellent immersive dimensionality, with two full-range side speakers that create a crisp wavefront mimicking a live performance and filling the room with a natural audio experience.
