Reigning Champ recently introduced its exclusive Reigning Champ x Krink Holiday Capsule Collection. The company says this limited release bridges the cultures of sport and street art, giving creatives a modern canvas. This holiday capsule collection is a DIY set that bundles a 3-pack of Krink’s signature K-42 paint markers with a custom all-white edition of Reigning Champ’s monochromatic Spalding basketball. Krink acrylic paints and inks are a staple in New York City’s graffiti scene and have been since the ’90s. Today the company’s high-quality paint and inks are essentials for artists worldwide. Reigning Champ says the Holiday Capsule Collection celebrates the brand with this limited edition.
What’s more, the collection includes a graphic t-shirt and crewneck collaboration between Krink founder and graffiti legend Craig Costello. Reigning Champ says they also commissioned Mega McGrath and Sophia Chang from nicenothings to join in on the collaboration. Mega McGrath is a Canadian artist and designer from Vancouver, BC, examining the human condition and its intersection with nature. Sophia Chang is a designer and illustrator from Queens, New York, creating a vivid, visual vocabulary inspired by sport, art, and design. Reigning Champ develops and designs signature fabrics and manufactures premium athletic wear.
