VR headsets are gaining quite a bit of momentum since the introduction of the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. VR allows the user to experience things that one could only have dreamt about in the past, like flying like a bird. Although still in its infant stages, there’s quite a bit of stir within the VR community and looks like the technology will only get better over time with the involvement of major manufacturers like Sony taking a stab at the VR pie.

Sony announced the official pricing for its new PlayStation VR at the 2016 E3, introducing the first VR headset that’s dedicated and powered by a gaming console. With a robust catalogue of games that many are already familiar with getting the VR treatment, such as the all-new Star Wars Battlefront, Sony definitely has an upper hand over its VR competitors. PlayStation 4’s robust hardware also means it will be a lot easier to jump right in and play, without the need to set up your room for VR like some other headsets. PlayStation VR will drop for $399 this October for all your VR adventure needs.
