Most of Adam Sandler’s movies of late looked more like an afterthought to his own personal vacation, where he would play an eccentric but lovable character with bad temper who lived in an exotic and picturesque location. Most of the time, he would be holding either a beer can or a gold club, but this time around those are replaced by a gun. Pixels is an upcoming sci-fi action adventure comedy starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Peter Dinklage set in a world that is invaded by ancient arcade game characters. The trailer shows Sander and crew taking on the likes of Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and other retro game characters. Interesting to see Sandler take a different turn with the roles that he’s been taking on. Pixels releases in theaters on July 24, 2015.
