Peugeot recently announced the Vision Gran Turismo, a concept car designed exclusively for the PlayStation 3 title Gran Turismo 6.
Most notably, the incredible width of the supercar at 1040mm and low-slung profile means that it doesn’t even need any aerodynamic aids for additional downforce. The 3.2 liter V6 turbo engine that sits just behind the driver sends its 875 bhp to the ground via a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to all four wheels that wear 22-inch alloys at the front and 23-inch at the back. Add to that, it only takes a ridiculous 1.73 seconds to reach up to 60 mph thanks to its lightweight design, tipping the scales at just 875 kg.
It’s only a digital concept at the moment, but Peugeot thinks the specifications are definitely achievable in real life so let’s keep our fingers crossed for any news regarding plans for production — maybe 10 years from now.
