OnePlus revealed two new electronic devices at a major event held in China on Jan. 4, 2023. In addition to a new and improved OnePlus smartphone (the OnePlus 11), the company unveiled OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds. The earbuds look similar to the Buds Pro model released last year but with some shiny new features.
The most significant advancement from last year’s model is the 99.6 percent effective noise-canceling functionality. They feature three microphones per earbud to upgrade noise cancelation and optimize voice pickup. The improved 39-hour battery life, with the charging case and active noise canceling turned off, is another draw for consumers. Dynaudio sound tuning and Dolby Atmos spatial audio are additional features that make the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 ideal for music, gaming, or conference calls.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds allow for dual connection for easier switching between OnePlus and Oppo devices. They also offer a 54ms low latency mode for gaming with a reduced risk of delays or loss of connection. These earbuds are packed with the latest, studio-level headphone technology and are available in traditional black or unique green colorways.
Like other OnePlus products, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are advertised for a significantly lower price than comparable products from Apple and Samsung. Sales began in China on January 9, but OnePlus will reveal international availability and pricing in early February 2023.
