Notre, a Chicago apparel retailer, and Nike have announced the upcoming release of the latest installment of Dunk-related Nikes, dubbed the Nike x Notre Dunk. This latest partnership was inspired by Notre’s co-founder, Michael Jaworowski’s fascination with the Nike SB Dunks when he first saw a youth wearing them at a community event. The creation of the Nike x Notre Dunk, a long-held dream of Jaworoski’s, has been realized with the release of the collaboration shoe. The Windy City-based retailer and Nike have created a minimalist set of Dunk Highs with two different colorways including a Light Orewood Brown-White and a Midnight Navy/Sky Grey-Fossil version.
The Nike x Notre Dunk Light Orewood Brown flaunts a stylish finish of creamy light brown with white highlights, alongside premium leather, and shaggy suede overlays to comprise its makeup. Leather lining, dual embroidered branding on the tongue, and two-tone patterned laces round out the design. The Notre x Nike Dunk High Midnight Navy Grey-Fossil version is done in a combination of rich navy with a cool grey. The shoe dons a leather base paired up with the same suede overlays. Leather guts and dual tongue branding (on the left shoe), along with two different colored Swooshes on the lateral and medial, an aged midsole, and three different sets of laces are all part of the shoe’s design. The shoes will be available for purchase starting on January 21st.
