However, when Ferrari’s senior vice president Flavio Manzoni agreed to the recent collaboration with Montblanc, two separate sides of luxury combined. It wasn’t the first time. The two high-end companies previously collaborated to create a fountain and rollerball pens for Montblanc’s Great Characters collection.
The Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 Pen undoubtedly raises the bar. It’s an ultralight titanium fountain pen with clear stylistic elements from each luxury brand. Ferrari’s inspiration comes from the limited edition Dayton SP3 V12 mid-engine, carbon fiber-bodied sports car. The pen’s horizontal slats imitate the car’s front and rear bumpers. Manzoni explained that beauty is a significant factor when creating a Ferrari, and it was when designing this writing utensil too.
Like a Ferrari, the Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 pen is beautiful, technical, innovative, and performance-driven. The pen’s red blade is a stand-out feature that turns heads much like when a red Ferrari sports car zooms past. Slide the blade back, and there’s a custom-designed, hidden filling compartment.
