Logitech is rethinking one of the most overlooked travel accessories with the new Mobi Fold, a wireless mouse designed to disappear into a bag when not in use and transform into a full-size pointing device when needed. Rather than shrinking a conventional mouse, Logitech has built the Mobi Fold around a hinged architecture that folds flat for transport and arches into an ergonomic shape for work.

The design addresses a common compromise of mobile productivity: portability versus comfort. Folded, the Mobi Fold is slim enough to slip into a pocket or laptop sleeve. Opened, it creates a more natural hand position than a trackpad, helping reduce fatigue during long work sessions. The folding mechanism also serves as the power switch, automatically turning the mouse on when opened and off when closed. Logitech claims the hinge is engineered to withstand up to 15 years of everyday use.

Sustainability plays a central role in the product’s construction. The outer shell is made entirely from recycled plastic, while the internal magnets utilize reclaimed rare-earth materials. The minimalist design incorporates two programmable buttons and an adaptive touch-scrolling surface that behaves more like a modern laptop trackpad than a traditional mouse wheel.

Connectivity is equally flexible. The Mobi Fold pairs with up to three devices via Bluetooth and supports Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux. It is also among the first peripherals to support Google Fast Pair, streamlining setup on compatible devices.
Power comes from a rechargeable battery capable of lasting up to a month between charges. When time is short, a one-minute USB-C quick charge provides approximately 22 hours of use. Priced at $79.99, the Mobi Fold occupies the premium end of the travel-mouse category, but its combination of thoughtful industrial design, portability, and sustainability makes it a compelling option for frequent travelers and mobile professionals.
