The latest LEGO Creator automotive kit will undoubtedly hit a soft spot with car enthusiasts who always dreamed of owning a classic Porsche 911 Turbo. This LEGO kit is designed for ages 18 and up and features 1,458 pieces. The kit enables builders to either construct the LEGO Porsche 911 as a Targa or Turbo model. The Porsche 911 Targa is famous for allowing drivers to remove the top roof panel and store it in the car’s front trunk space. The kit lets you do just that as the LEGO Porsche 911 set allows builders to remove the roof to turn it into a Targa. Like the real car, builders can store the LEGO roof inside the trunk to avoid losing the piece on the living room carpet.
As with all its creator kits, LEGO goes to great lengths to capture the German sports car’s iconic shape and details. The completed kit measures 4 x 13.5 and 6-inches. Builders will enjoy fitting the car with working steering and dress the interior with an orange-and-nougat color scheme. The LEGO Creator Porsche 911 Turbo/Targa will be available on February 16th to LEGO VIP members. The general release of the kit starts on March 1st.
