Franck Muller, Bamford Watch Department (BWD), and the iconic Peanuts gang have once again joined forces to create a limited edition timepiece that’s bound to capture the hearts of watch enthusiasts and Snoopy fans alike. The Franck Muller x BWD Crazy Hours Arctic Snoopy is the sequel to their successful collaboration from 2021, and it brings a refreshing twist to the already unconventional Franck Muller Crazy Hours.
This timepiece is a limited edition of just 45 pieces, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item. It’s built upon the Franck Muller Crazy Hours framework, which is known for its chaotic complication – a jumping hours indication that seems to move in a random fashion, adding a touch of whimsy to its classic design.
For this iteration, Bamford Watch Department has transformed the watch into a vision of Arctic elegance. The watch features an arctic white color scheme, including a white PVD-treated titanium case, a fully luminescent white dial with a stamped guilloche pattern and 25 layers of lacquer, and a hand-sewn white nylon strap, creating a stunning monochromatic aesthetic.
Inside the timepiece ticks the automatic MVD FM 2800-CHR movement with 42 hours of power reserve, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship. Although the movement is beautifully decorated, it remains hidden beneath a solid titanium caseback.
As a tribute to the beloved Peanuts characters, the Franck Muller x BWD Crazy Hours Arctic Snoopy Limited Edition comes in an elaborate Igloo doghouse box, featuring a perched Woodstock. The first edition of this collaboration was a quick sell-out, and with 45 pieces available starting now, it’s expected that this Arctic Snoopy edition will also find its way onto the wrists of fortunate collectors.
