Dell has resurrected its iconic XPS line for 2026, starting with the 14‑inch model. The new Dell XPS 14 has a CNC‑machined aluminium chassis that measures only 14.6 mm thick and weighs about three pounds. Despite its compact footprint, the laptop packs a 31‑hour battery when configured with the LCD display, thanks to high energy density cells and efficient Series 3 Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processors and integrated Intel Arc graphics.

Display options include a 2.8K OLED panel or a 2K LCD screen with a variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz and Dolby Vision certification. The InfinityEdge design keeps bezels razor thin while housing an 8 MP / 4K HDR webcam and quad speakers tuned with Waves MaxxAudio.

The XPS 14 offers up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB of solid‑state storage, along with three Thunderbolt 4 ports for charging and peripherals. Dell emphasises sustainability: the chassis uses 75 % recycled aluminium and the battery incorporates 50 % recycled cobalt. For connectivity, the laptop features Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. Even the packaging is made from responsibly sourced and recycled materials.
This thin‑and‑light machine is aimed at professionals and creators who value portability without compromising on endurance. While Dell’s decision to retire the XPS name briefly in 2025 raised eyebrows, the brand’s return is a confident statement about continuity and heritage, offering a balanced blend of craftsmanship, power and battery life.
