Integrated-bracelet watches often get more imposing as their specifications improve. The Citizen Tsuyosa 60 37mm goes the other way, putting the line’s longer-running Caliber 8310 into a smaller case without treating compact size as a lower-spec option.

Citizen’s U.S. lineup currently shows two new 37mm Tsuyosa 60 references. The NK0030-51E uses a silver-tone stainless-steel case and bracelet with a black dial, while the NK0032-56A pairs a yellow-gold-tone case and bracelet with a silver-tone textured dial. Both use sapphire crystals, date displays at 3 o’clock, integrated steel bracelets, and 50 meters of water resistance.

Inside both watches is Citizen’s automatic Caliber 8310, with hacking seconds and a 60-hour power reserve. That is the point of the release: Citizen is not simply shrinking the standard Tsuyosa. It is bringing the mechanical package of the larger Tsuyosa 60 into a case that should wear more compactly while keeping the integrated-bracelet look intact.

The black reference uses a fold-over clasp with push buttons and is priced at $595. The gold-tone version uses a deployant clasp with push buttons and costs $675.
