Swedish eyewear brand CHIMI has expanded its ‘ACTIVE’ line, announcing the launch of a new running-focused capsule that features a range of high-performance shades. The CHIMI Active Collection consists of new interpretations of CHIMI’s signature sunglasses geared to withstand everything from leisurely jogs to high-intensity sprints. The ACTIVE collection features silhouettes based on CHIMI’s two most classic CORE styles, ”01” and ”04”. The “01” style is a versatile shape with a slightly rounded silhouette, suitable for most face shapes. It features high-contrast polarized Essilor lenses and a lightweight bio-based frame developed with premium material from the French supplier Arkema.
CHIMI’s “04” style sunglasses style a minimal, rectangular silhouette. Like the “01,” it features polarized Essilor lenses and the lightweight bio-based frame developed with Arkema technology. Both of these new Active Collection styles weigh in at a mere .8 ounces and feature an adjustable rubber nose pad and temple tips crafted from rubber titanium chord. Both versions of the sunglasses come in red and grey with matching lenses, or black and white with yellow lenses. In addition, both models also feature adjustable waist pouches and a removable strap.
