Thanks to Palmer Luckey, the founder of Oculus, virtual reality devices have taken on a new life in recent years. Brewed up from his parents garage at the age of 18, his passion for virtual reality was truly contagious and soon gained incredible momentum that has now spread to large corporations like Samsung taking notice. The Avegant Glyph is another stab at virtual reality, but with their own unique approach. The California based company created a new virtual reality device that rids of magnified screens in favor of light virtual retinal display that shaves weight off of the device, making it more wearable and usable. It can also double as headphones, making the device more approachable. With prices to start at $599 and launch and $499 when preordered, it also boasts an approachable price as well.
