As a child, the world was a playground filled with wonder. With the simplest of toys, we could create whole new worlds that were populated with nothing but our imagination. However as adults, we’ve begun to embrace our realities more and we find ourselves lacking the imaginative creativity we’ve once had as children.
Areaware seems to be more than aware of our desires to escape back to childhood as their Blockitecture is a set of beautifully simple and organic architectural building blocks that mimic modern cities, but leave room for your imagination to complete each set. Available in two versions called Garden City and Habitat, the simplified versions of our world can be arranged in various configurations with only your imagination being the limit. Designer James Paulius also demonstrates that toys can be beautiful objects that encourages adults to roam free with our imagination as well.
