Stop worrying about replacing batteries or the need to wear your watch every day or two just to keep it running. The Accutron DNA is aptly named as it uses the company’s proprietary state of the art electrostatic movement to keep this timepiece ticking with a supreme level of precision. Each of these turbines takes on a charge by being powered by the movement of whoever is wearing it. The first turbine powers the fluid seconds hand, while the second powers the minute and hour hands.
Based on the brand’s 1960s Spaceview model, the Accutron DNA features a beautifully crafted skeletal dial that offers a picturesque view of the gears working underneath. The domed glass creates a birds-eye view of every detail within the watch. With a thickness of 15.6mm the 45.1mm is water resistant up to 50 meters. The case comes in an array of colors, from a deep shade of British racing green that surrounds the bezel or the choice between copper and steel accents. A black rubber strap with a double press couples with the stainless steel case to give the Accutron DNA a sporty yet sophisticated feel.
