Wandering-hour watches usually move their indications around a rotating carousel. The URWERK UR-300 Time Quantum turns that arrangement inside out, fixing two linear hour modules at right angles and changing their configuration as each hour passes.

The new T-shaped architecture carries four three-sided hour prisms. Instead of the brand’s familiar retrograde return, the indication makes a rapid forward jump when the hour changes.

Minutes are read against a 108-degree arc marked from zero to 60, while three small running-seconds indicators each cover a 20-second segment. The result is a mechanically dense display with a different visual rhythm from conventional jumping-hour watches.

The Grade 5 titanium case measures 45.2 by 58.8mm and is 18.25mm thick. Flexible anodized-aluminum lugs connect it to a nylon strap. Inside, the automatic UR-30.01 movement runs at 4Hz with a 43-hour power reserve, while URWERK’s patented Dual Flow Turbines system regulates winding.

Water resistance is rated to 30 meters. An alternative AlTiN-coated version changes the exterior finish without altering the central mechanism.
The UR-300 is presented in the brand’s consumer collection, but U.S. pricing, order availability, and delivery dates have not been confirmed. Its significance lies in the redesigned display architecture rather than a cosmetic edition of an existing watch.
