If we had to pick the quintessential American automotive icon, it would have to be the Ford Mustang. Not only has the iconic pony car been with us for more than half a century, it’s rennaissance in recent years only seems to solidify its place in the American automotive landscape. It all started with the classic shape from 1962, when Ford single handedly created the pony car sector with this affordable sporty coupe.
The original design still enjoys a loyal fanbase, with many restored and modified classic Mustangs on the road till this day. Carlex Design, creators of unique car interiors, has been working hard on this 1967 Mustang Fastback for a while and they have finally revealed their finished product. The immaculate exterior wears a stunning shade of blue that compliments the vehicle well, but possibly even more stunning than the exterior is the interior that features a “mixture of modern and classic designs.” With generous but tasteful use of materials like black nubuck leather, chrome, and carbon fiber, the interior feels period appropriate while also feeling modern.
