The original Titanfall dropped back in 2014 as one of the most highly anticipated games of that year. The Xbox exclusive was set to bring a new kind of gameplay to the First Person Shooter (FPS) genre by adding Titans and more tech. Other FPS games soon followed the trend by adding more futuristic weapons and gameplay. Despite the revolutionary gameplay mechanics, the game itself was plagued with several issues, such as the lack of the single player mode and the fact that it was only available on the Xbox consoles, which soon became an achilles heel to what was rather a refreshingly entertaining game.
Looks like Respawn has leaned their lesson having remedied both for the upcoming Titanfall 2. It’s breaking away from being an Xbox exclusive and will now be available on the Xbox One, PC as well as the Playstation 4. Even better, they are adding a single player campaign that explores the bond between man and machine, so for those of you sick of playing against annoying juveniles online can take it easy by yourself.

Titanfall 2 will drop on October 28, 2016.
