The Segway Apex Electric Motorcycle is poised to bring the company out of the parallel wheel world of mobility vehicles. Officially introduced at CES 2020, this electric motorcycle demonstrates a significant step up for Segway.
Upon its release, look for the Apex to be able to go from 0 to 60 in a blistering 2.9 seconds. As the company’s quickest product yet, the Apex has been deemed to be a super scooter and has a top speed of 129 mph.
The motor is mounted mid-frame with a rear brake operated with the classic foot lever, a feature that seems to be missing on many electric motorcycles. Its inclusion helps the Apex bridge that gap between tradition and trendy. The cockpit is as sleek and sophisticated as the rest of the bike.
