Google made VR approachable for the masses by introducing the Google Cardboard headset, giving people an inexpensive way to get their feet wet in the VR world. With more interest building for better VR these days, Google ups their VR game with the introduction of the Google Daydream View VR headset.
The Daydream View is the best looking VR headset that we’ve seen so far, taking a fresh new approach to a market dominated by cheap headsets made from flimsy plastic. It’s wrapped in a lightweight, breathable fabric that’s inspired by what we wear, and comes in slate, snow, and crimson. As simple as its design is, the Daydream View is also easy to wear, and comes with a controller that’s simple to use, letting you control the action with your fingertips. The removable facepad makes it easy to wash whenever you like, a great way to keep your headset hygienic after hours of immersive VR experience. The Google Daydream View VR Headset will be available starting this November online and at select retailers.
