One of the most surprising announcements at this year’s Geneva Motor Show back in March was the unveiling of the Morgan EV3 all-electric car. Morgan, founded in 1909, is known for their historic and quintessentially British take on motoring, which made the introduction of an electric car that much more surprising.
To celebrate the launch of their first ever electric vehicle, Morgan enlisted the help of another iconic British brand born in the same year; Selfridges. Their collaborative effort is the Morgan EV3 #UK 1909 Selfridges Edition, limited to 19 vehicles world wide. The retro-futuristic limited edition vehicle that borrows heavily from Morgan’s successful Three Wheeler comes in a luxurious yet understated black with Selfridges bronze detailing – reminiscent of the Oxford Street store’s iconic bronze name plaque.
Selfridges has also made the collaboration more special by introducing the UK 1909 Edition Driving Kit with the help of nine iconic British brands, ranging from leather driving gloves from Dents to a waxed jacket from Belstaff.
