The Reevo Hubless e-Bike is a two-wheeled reminder that the future is now. This battery-powered electric bicycle is designed with a triple barrier anti-theft system. Unlock this e-bike using a one-touch fingerprint reader located on the handlebar. It uses an integrated GPS with motion detection to track the bike’s location and give riders a setting to program a geofencing radius. Reevo also gave the Hubless e-bike an automatic lock built into the frame to defer would-be bike thieves from using bolt-cutters. However, the most futuristic gadget on this e-bike is the sci-fi movie spoke-less wheels.
These spoke-less wheels are more than just for show. The rear wheel has an integrated brake, turn signals, and electric lock. The front-wheel features LED lights with light sensors that will automatically turn on as night falls. The Hubless e-bike is offered with two different electric motors. Bikes in the U.S. use a 750-watt motor, while a 250-watt motor powers hubless bikes sold in Europe. Both electric motors work with a 48V detachable battery that can provide adaptive pedal assistance to a top speed of 25 mph. Reevo states it only takes three hours for the battery to charge and uses a USB charging port.
