Believed to bring good luck, garden gnomes have been popping up in gardens and yards of all shapes and size across the globe for decades. Some people find them unsightly and of bad taste. Thanks to designer Pellegrino Cucciniello, however, known for his low-poly artwork, these small 5-inch statuesque lawn ornaments are getting a complete head-to-toe modern makeover.

Gone are the things that people associated with a more traditional garden gnome: the red pointed hat, the chubby little bearded face, and rounded body. Instead, the Nino Garden Gnome has a contemporary look with a sleek monochrome appearance that is made up of sharp edges and carefully placed geometric shapes. Made out of Italian concrete, the Nino Garden Gnome isn’t just limited to spending time outdoors. He can be brought inside and used as a statue or art object for the home or office. We don’t like garden gnomes either, but you can’t say that the owner of this garden gnome has bad taste.
