Keeping pace with the brand’s resident adventurer, Mike Horn, the Panerai Submersible Chrono Flyback Mike Horn Edition is the latest, limited-edition offering by the watchmaker. Knowledgeable collectors and experts of the brand will note that the latest release recalls the yellow, white, and blue color combination that was made popular in Horn’s 2016 Panerai collection. This nearly indispensable and indestructible chronograph is an expert tool in the hands of explorers traversing both land and sea. It is powered by the P.9100 movement, which is the first automatic movement with chronograph functions created by the Panerai brand and it provides three days of power reserve. This timepiece is also water-resistant up to 300 meters and features two strap options, one, a blue rubber accordion strap and the other a UPCamo bi-material strap, which is composed of camouflage fabric and rubber, inspired by uniforms worn by the Italian Navy.
The Panerai Submersible Chrono Flyback Mike Horn Edition is in keeping with the explorer’s own exploits, like his trekking the North Pole or other adventures where he has pushed his body to maintain focus and excellence. This watch features a brush titanium case and measures 47mm in diameter. It has a safety lock crown protection device as well, which is constructed of brushed titanium. Each piece will include an engraved Mike Horn signature located on the case back. The Panerai Submersible Chrono Flyback Mike Horn Edition timepiece will be available in a limited release made up of just 500 pieces.
