Omega’s latest offering, the Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition, is a masterful blend of history, elegance, and tribute. In celebration of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, Omega has crafted a vintage-style timepiece that honors the iconic medals with a harmonious combination of gold, silver, and bronze.
Inspired by a classic Omega wristwatch from 1939, the 39mm brushed case is made from Omega’s exclusive Bronze Gold, complemented by a polished bezel and a vintage Omega logo embossed on the crown. The dial, protected by a domed sapphire crystal, is crafted from Ag 925 silver and features a “Clous de Paris” pattern at its center. A small seconds subdial is positioned at 6 o’clock, adding a touch of sophistication. The 18K Sedna™ Gold hands are coated with a special PVD Bronze Gold, enhancing the watch’s luxurious appeal.
The caseback is equally impressive, featuring the “BG 859” engraving that references Bronze Gold and the shape of the case, following historic Omega references. A stamped and frosted medallion with a mirror-polished Paris 2024 logo, complete with the iconic Olympic rings, adds to the watch’s commemorative charm.
Presented in a special box, the Omega Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition is worn on a brown calf-skin leather strap with a sandblasted Bronze Gold buckle. Inside, the watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8926, known for its precision and luxury finish. Priced at $12,000, this timepiece is not just a watch but a piece of history, making it a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
